Efficient Parcel Protection for Your Peace of Mind

Parcel Protection safeguards your shipment against theft and vandalism, especially in regions where such risks are higher. Though no longer mandatory, this valuable service is offered to clients with every shipment. The Parcel Protection surcharge ranges from 0.8% to 2% of the declared shipment value, ensuring compensation of 75% to 100% of the declared value in case of permanent loss or damages.

We highly recommend Parcel Protection and transport insurance, as carrier liability may not fully cover your cargo’s value. You can obtain "All Risk" Insurance through Metacredt Logistics. Please note that if insurance is not requested in writing, Metacredt Logistics will not insure your cargo, and we hold no liability for permanent loss or damage in the absence of Parcel Protection insurance.

How It Works

Automatic Tracking Email

Once your shipment is processed, you’ll receive a tracking email with a link to request an insurance quote.

Declare Shipment Value

You will need to declare the value of your shipment, including shipping and associated costs for full coverage.

Insurance Quote and Payment

After accepting the insurance quote, you’ll receive a separate invoice for the insurance premium. Payment must be made promptly to validate the insurance. If the shipment departs before payment, any claims will be invalid.

Liabilities Are Not Assumed

Subject to the service conditions in this agreement, we are not liable for:

Direct, incidental, or consequential damage, loss of income, or profit beyond the declared value or US$99 per shipment or US$9.09/pound (US$20 per kilogram), whichever is lower.
Damage or loss due to incorrect cargo declaration, improper packing, or insufficient securing, marking, or addressing.
Acts or omissions of the recipient or any party with an interest in the shipment.
Loss, damage, delay, shortage, improper delivery, non-delivery, misinformation, or failure to provide information regarding cash, currency, or other prohibited items.

We are also not liable for losses caused by events beyond our control, including:

Acts of God, public authorities, strikes, labor disputes, weather, mechanical or aircraft failures, civil commotions, customs or quarantine officials' actions, war, terrorism, or defaults by the shipper or consignee.
Delays due to the total volume of consolidated shipments being less than 200kg. You will be notified in such cases, and we are not liable for delays from such occurrences.

Additionally, all items are stored in a general warehouse, which may not be suitable for all goods. We are not liable for deterioration, quality depreciation, or changes in appearance of items due to long-term storage.
